The all-new WD-15E builds on WarpAstron’s trusted Servo Direct Drive architecture and goes further with the addition of a newly integrated RA output absolute encoder.
By combining fast input-side correction with true output-axis feedback, WD-15E reduces total periodic error while preserving the high response and efficiency inherent to servo direct drive. Each unit is individually calibrated using WarpAstron’s proprietary process to ensure consistent, verifiable low PE performance.
With an absolute encoder placed directly on the RA output within a belt-less servo direct drive system, WD-15E represents a more efficient next-generation solution for achieving ultra-low periodic error.
